Citylight Prayer Team.
What is Citylight the Citylight Prayer Team?
At Citylight, we believe prayer is the work. And we exist to encourage, support, and walk alongside you through the power of prayer.
-
This ministry is for:
· Anyone facing emotional, spiritual, relational, or physical challenges.
· Those in challenging times.
· Individuals seeking discernment, peace, or encouragement.
· Anyone who simply needs prayer.
· You do not need to be a member of our church to receive prayer.
-
If you’re unable to come in person or prefer to share privately, you can submit a prayer request online at any time.
· Your request is received by our trusted prayer team.
· Requests are prayed over regularly and intentionally.
· You may choose to remain anonymous.
· Confidentiality is honored.
-
We offer in-person intercessory prayer for anyone who desires personal prayer and spiritual support (1 Cor. 1:3-4)
During these times, you can expect:
· A safe, welcoming, and respectful environment
· Trained intercessors who listen before they pray
· Prayer led by the Holy Spirit, grounded in Scripture (Eph. 6:18)
· Care without pressure, judgment, or expectation
You don’t need to know what to say or how to pray—just come as you are.
-
For those walking through extended seasons of difficulty, we also provide continued prayer coverage.
This may include:
· Regular prayer follow-up
· Encouragement through Scripture and presence
(Availability may vary depending on need.)
-
We also invite anyone in need of prayer to pray with us at the altar during our Sunday services, following the sermon during our response time.
This is a simple and sacred moment where our prayer team members are available to:
· Pray with you personally during the response time.
· Stand with you in faith for immediate needs.
· Whether you come forward with a clear request or simply need prayer, you are welcome.
-
· Submit a prayer request online using the link above.
· Request an in-person intercession meeting (contact michelle@wearecitylight)
· Reach out with questions if you’re unsure where to start.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
1 Corinthians 1:3-4
