Because we want to help you build a firm foundation, Citylight views Prepare/Enrich as a journey rather than a one-time event. The process is divided into two meaningful parts:

• The Assessment: Each of you will complete an online assessment privately and honestly. This usually takes about 30 minutes. We recommend finding a quiet, 'emotionally neutral' day to complete it in one sitting so your answers truly reflect your heart.

• The Feedback Sessions: Once the assessment is finished, you’ll begin the core of the program—meeting with a facilitator (and often their spouse) to walk through your results.

  Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, these meetings are specifically tailored to your relationship; your facilitator will use the data from your assessment to identify and focus on the unique growth areas and strength areas that need the most attention.

  At Citylight, we typically schedule four sessions, spaced at least two weeks apart. This rhythm gives you intentional time between meetings to work through your workbooks and practice new skills together in the context of your daily lives.

Our goal is your growth, not a schedule. If it becomes clear that your relationship would benefit from more than four sessions, your facilitator will gladly work with you to add more time as needed.

At Citylight, we view the Prepare/Enrich assessment not merely as a service, but as a vital discipleship tool to help you build a marriage that honors God and lasts a lifetime.

For our Citylight members (where at least one partner is a member), we are joyful to offer this program and all digital materials at no cost to you. We want to invest in your future and remove any barriers to receiving this guidance. If you prefer to have physical workbooks to hold and write in, those are available for a small fee of $5 per copy.

While this program is primarily designed for premarital counseling, we do occasionally offer it to married couples on a case-by-case basis as they seek to strengthen their union.

For our friends and neighbors who are not members of Citylight, we are happy to facilitate this training for a fee of $40 per couple, provided we have facilitators available. Please note that Citylight members will be given priority in scheduling. Our prayer is that this investment serves as a foundation for a healthy, Christ-centered home.
